Privacy Policy

What you give us directly

• Account details. If you create an account: your email address, and your name if you provide one.
• Form submissions. The contact form, the course enrollment form, and the course notification signup each store what you type into them, including your name and email.
• Donations. Your name, email, and donation amount. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers — we store only Stripe's reference IDs and the amount.

What the career tools do with your text

The Career Path finder, Skill Assessment, Interview Practice, and What-If Simulator run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is transmitted or stored.

The Resume Builder is the exception. To rewrite a resume, the text you upload or paste is sent to an AI provider for processing and returned to your browser. We do not save your resume to our database. The AI provider processes it to generate the response; do not paste information you would not want processed by a third party.

What we collect automatically

We record one analytics event per page you view, so we can report honestly to funders about how the site is used. Each event contains: the page path, the referring page, your browser's user agent, language setting, screen size, and time zone, plus coarse engagement signals (whether you clicked, scrolled, or typed, and how long you stayed).

It is tied to a random session identifier that lives in your browser's session storage and is discarded when you close the tab. It is not linked to your name or email, and we do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers, or cross-site profiling. We do not sell or rent anything we collect.

Who else sees it

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in.
• Stripe — processes donations and memberships.
• Lovable — hosts the site and routes the AI resume requests.

Beyond these, we disclose information only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Analytics events are kept for 24 months. Donation records are kept for seven years, which is what nonprofit financial recordkeeping requires. Account data and form submissions are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

Email info@edu2elevate.org to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond within 30 days. If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have these rights under CCPA, GDPR, or UK GDPR respectively, and we honor them for everyone regardless of where you live.

Analytics are only recorded while JavaScript is enabled. Browser settings that block scripts or clear session storage will stop the collection described above.

Children

This site is built for adult learners and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact
